AFIO & NMIA are "broad-spectrum" Intel membership
organizations. AFIO has broadened it's
membership eligibility to include law enforcement categories. Leadership
in both
organizations recognize the appropriateness of an operating paradigm that
requires an increased subordination of turf-protecting parochialism and information
"stove-piping", so that Intel and Law Enforcement organizations
better communicate and cooperate in appropriate ways in the
interests of Homeland Security.
