DCI Mission Declaration Celebration, Inc. is concerned
with promoting understanding, appreciation, and celebration of the unique ideals
that are integral to America’s founding and continuation as a nation. DCI’s public website www.july4.org is
about providing an exhaustive single-source public site for Homeland Security
information, as well as resources for “understanding the times”. DCI is currently working with the Garland County Department of Emergency Management 9-1-1 and other organizations in an effort to make Garland County, Arkansas a model of how local government can make local Homeland Security, Public Safety, and Emergency Management information conveniently accessible to the public. Work on up-to-date maps of Garland County and Hot Springs Village are in progress, which DCI intends to publish when completed. In addition to publication of a glove box sized map for use by the local population, DCI intends to make the updated maps available on the Internet, with selectable data layers including school district boundaries and topography. |
